SQUASH CURRY SOUP with HONEY

      SQUASH CURRY SOUP with HONEY

   INGREDIENTS
    1 medium size squash any kind (acorn,butternut,calabaza,delicata)
                             cut into 1 inch cubes 
               1 medium red onion roughly chopped 
               1 gloves of garlic minced 
               1 tbsp butter 
               2 cups of chicken broth ( low sodium if possible)

               2 tsp curry powder
               1 tsp cumin powder 
               1 tbsp lemon 
               2 tbsp honey
               salt and pepper to taste 
               yogurt for garnishing (optional)

         Preparation 
   
     In a big sauce pan ,saute garlic,onion in butter for 20 seconds until the onion is 
                  tender .Add the squash ,curry powder,cumin ,stirring  add chicken broth.Let
                  it simmer for about 15 minutes until the squash gets tender.Removed pot from the 
                  fire set aside ,let it cool for about 20 minutes.
                  Using electric blender ,blend the squash mixture in a minimum speed , until firm 
                  and smooth. In a the same sauce pan, pour the blended squash mixture, bring to 
                  fire in a medium heat.Let it boil for 1 minute ,then add lemon ,honey, salt and 
                  pepper to taste,stirring until well combined , set the fire in high heat ,boil soup 
                  for about  1 minute , Turn off heat,
                 Serve with yogurt on top .


          Serving:4                    Preparation:  10 min       Cooking time: 35 to 37 min.



          This soup can be eaten with french bread or any kind of white bread you desired. But I will recommend the  GRILLED  FETA BREAD its fantastic  combination with this smoothie,sweetness, buttery flavor of squash.One thing I love this soup is you can embrace the taste of the curry ,cumin .together with the honey and lemon . Perfect taste, ever for this kind of soup. and again it  is very easy to do.

SHRIMPS with CHILI SAUCE

This recipes will bring you a little bit sweetness,salty ,spicy,and a satisfying taste and aroma of garlic. Garlic is one of my favorite 
 ingredients,which i love the aromatic aroma,and the taste of it. Try my shrimp recipe ,for those who love spicy food , but don't worry about those who don't because you can omit the chili . this recipe is very easy to do but delicious .




SERVING: 4      PREP:15 MIN    COOKING TIME: 10 MIN  


INGREDIENTS;

 3/4 kl. large raw shrimps (shelled )
 3 gloves of garlic minced 
 1 shallots minced 
 1 tsp minced ginger
 spring onion chopped  
 cilantro chopped
 2 tbsp cooking oil
 For the sauce 

3 tbsp chili sauce 
2 tbsp, chili oil
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp fish sauce 
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1/4 cup water 

PROCEDURES:

Clean the shrimps leaving the tail on.In a small bowl combined all the sauce ingredients whisk slowly until well combined set aside.
In a large skillet with oil , add ginger string until fragrant , then add garlic, shallots,cook about 10 seconds then add the sauce mixture,stirring for 30 seconds .Add shrimps and cook until they turn pink, and glazed well.

Cooking is my passion, and a pleasure for me.I love food and I can't remember not loving food.When I was in my early teens,


 I always helped my mother and started cooking with her,and I felt so happy with her in our simple kitchen , it has a good vibes in me ,help me to ambition .So I do believe that my mother inspired me and to take serious in cooking but of course to be a good cook .And I have been so great full to have this natural talent  since when i was a little girl and now I truly found it. Its like a homemade ability that god given to me .


I feel fortunate to have this job(a cook)because I became a good cook and finally I used this talent to give a smile, a good food ,good appetite, to the people and to appreciate the food industry.Of course i like compliments from my employer, customers,friends when they said 'delicious, great food , fantastic,yummy, sooo good,and they even asked me  to prepare it again this compliments gave  me an strong determination to work hard ,and continue to enhance my knowledge in cooking.


Baking is my preference in cooking,but I am also cooking  main dishes .I also prepare all kinds  of dishes.I am not limited in terms in cooking I like to experiment new dishes ,try new ingredients that i never used before.Experiments makes perfect,and discover new things

I make a great Calamansi pie ( Calamansi- is a small citrus fruits,which plentiful in the Philippines )I used this native lemon to make my own version of Lemon meringue Pie, this is one of my signature dish. I also love to trow party in my days off also,volunteer in Non-government agencies for the feeding programmed for the children I do love to paint ' just amateur painter one of my hobbies
