Cabbage and Apple Green Salad with Lemon honey Dressing

                                                                 ' Cabbage '


          Cabbage is ,mostly used in everyday cooking in Asia , We used a bunched of cabbage for our mixed vegetable dish  for everyday meal, used for wrapping , sauteing, and much more,So I thought about this to make a new difference in this cabbage , as we get tired of eating eat everyday,I added with a twist a combination of western fruit and an Asian vegetable that can be eaten with roasted chicken,barbecue, or even fried foods . This absolutely perfect for summer season, and ,this  would be refreshing and healthy salad.

                             with Lemon Honey Dressing

INGREDIENTS:

                     1 medium size of cabbage ( shredded)
                     2 green apple cut into matchsticks
                     1/2 cup toasted cashew nuts ( roughly chopped)
                     1 small cucumber preferably (English cucumber or Persian cucumber
                                            ( cut into matchsticks)
                 


  For Dressing:

                    1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
                    1 large lemon
                    2 Tbsp honey
                    salt and pepper to taste


PREPARATION:

                      In a large salad bowl , put shredded cabbage, green apple, cucumber. In  a small mixing bowl , put oil , lemon juice, honey , stir well until combine. Pour dressing over cabbage mix, add salt and pepper, .Toss to combine , top with chopped cashew nuts.


Note: Leftover salad can be put into airtight container and stored in a fridge for 1 day,
